Athena Bioscience, LLC has acquired exclusive US marketing rights to Naprosyn® Oral Suspension 125 mg/ 5 mL.(Naproxen Oral Suspension USP 125 mg / 5 mL).

NAPROSYN® for KIDS (Rx Only)

With a wide range of NSAID indications, including Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA), Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Tendonitis, Bursitis, Acute Gout, and for the management of Pain and Primary Dysmenorrhea, Naprosyn® for KIDS Oral Suspension may be an appropriate choice for patients 2 years and older who have difficulty swallowing tablets, require an NSAID that can last a full school day, or need physician-controlled dosing when a child my benefit from a lower effective dose consistent with individual patient treatment goals.* (See prescribing information for full indications, dosing, and safety information.)

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

WARNINGS: RISK OF SERIOUS CARDIOVASCULAR AND GASTROINTESTINAL EFFECTS
Cardiovascular Thrombotic Events
NSAIDs cause an increased risk of serious cardiovascular thrombotic events, including myocardial infarction and stroke, which can be fatal. This risk may occur early in treatment and may increase with duration of use (see WARNINGS).
Naprosyn Oral Suspension USP is contraindicated in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery (see CONTRAINDICATIONS, WARNINGS).
Gastrointestinal Bleeding, Ulceration, and Perforation
NSAIDs cause an increased risk of serious gastrointestinal (GI) adverse events including bleeding, ulceration, and perforation of the stomach or intestines, which can be fatal. These events can occur at any time during use and without warning symptoms. Elderly patients and patients with a prior history of peptic ulcer disease and/or GI bleeding are at greater risk for serious GI events (see WARNINGS).
